Nancy Nelson, CPC began their work experience in 1980 at Gonzaga University Library, where they participated in a workstudy program until 1984. Following this, they joined Frame It at The Bon as a Manager from 1984 to 1987, where they enjoyed the creative aspect of picture framing and working with a diverse range of people. In 1988, Nancy became the President/Owner of Humanix, an employee-owned company.
