Katherine Hilton is an experienced linguist and educator currently serving as an Advisor at Humanly since May 2021 and as a Lecturer at Stanford University since June 2013, teaching courses on topics such as Introduction to Linguistics, Language and Society, and Sociolinguistics. In addition to these roles, Katherine has held positions as a Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant, and Section Instructor, focusing on subjects like Phonetics and African American Vernacular English. Katherine also lectured at the University of California, Berkeley in early 2020. Previous experience includes working as a Pronunciation Tutor at the Center for Language, Education and Development and as an Instructor for The Literacy Lab and Ivy Insiders.
