Kristan Bullett

Kristan Bullett has a diverse and extensive work experience in the media and entertainment industry, primarily in technical and leadership roles.

In 2000, Kristan started their career at Sky as a Technical Lead, where they led the implementation of a major multi-phase VOD solution. Kristan worked on designing the Java server and leading the client application implementation.

From 2002 to 2004, Kristan worked as a Senior Technical Architect at AT&T, contributing to their VOD application strategy and working on client sites in San Antonio, Dallas, Atlanta, and ioko offices.

In 2006, Kristan joined ioko as a Technical Architect and later progressed to the role of Senior Technical Architect. Kristan specialized in the Media & Entertainment space, leading projects in different ioko offices, including the US market expansion.

In 2011, after the acquisition of ioko by KIT Digital, Kristan continued working as a Senior Technical Architect and later became the VP of Architecture, Development Services. Kristan led large bespoke web application and system integration projects in the VOD and Media and Entertainment space, with architectural responsibility for multi-million dollar projects across multiple countries.

In 2013, Kristan joined UPC Broadband as a Senior Technical Architect, where they were responsible for architecting and implementing a large, multi-tenanted VOD solution across STB, Web, and connected devices.

From 2013 to 2021, Kristan held several roles at Piksel, including Global Head of Software Architecture, Group Head of Architecture, Head of Solutions, and Managing Director of Media + Entertainment. Kristan provided technical leadership, developed long-lasting customer relationships, and contributed to the company's architectural approach and commercial direction.

In 2021, Kristan joined RankedRight as the Chief Technology Officer, responsible for development, technical vision, and product delivery of their automated triage system.

In addition to their professional experience, Kristan is also the Founder & CEO of Humans Not Robots, a company focused on bringing sustainability to the media supply chain for the benefit of business, people, and the planet.

Kristan Bullett attended the University of Central Lancashire from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained a BSc degree in Business Systems Development. In addition to their formal education, Kristan also received certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate in September 2020 and Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner in June 2020.
