Nicole Freedman, SHRM-CP

Nicole Freedman, SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. From 2016 onwards, they worked at Humanyze, where they held multiple roles. As a Human Resources Operations Manager, they implemented employee assessments and conducted new employee orientation. Nicole also researched and implemented annual benefits renewals. Prior to this, Nicole served as an Operations Manager at the same company, where they designed and implemented goal setting processes and managed various HR processes. Before joining Humanyze, they worked at Villa Journeys as a Travel Advisor and Co-owner, where they coordinated website redesign and maintained website content. Nicole also prepared customer e-newsletters. Earlier in their career, Nicole worked at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and MIT Media Lab as an Administrative Assistant, where their responsibilities included managing social media communications, coordinating conferences and workshops, managing travel arrangements, scheduling, and coordinating new employee orientation.

Nicole Freedman, SHRM-CP, has a diverse educational background. Nicole obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. In 1995, Nicole also participated in the Semester at Sea program.

Later, in 2009 and 2010, Nicole attended Northeastern University and pursued a field of study in Digital Media. In 2014, they returned to Northeastern University for a specialized course in Introduction to the Digital Era: The Power of Social Media.

In addition to their formal education, Nicole has obtained two certifications. Nicole earned the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation from SHRM in January 2019, demonstrating their expertise in human resource management. Additionally, Nicole received their Certified Travel Advisor certification from Fora Travel in April 2023, further highlighting their knowledge and skills in the travel industry.
