James Dawson

CEO and Founder at Humble Grape

James Dawson has had a varied career, beginning with a role as Product Manager at BrokerTec in 2003. James then moved to ICAP Securities Limited in 2005, where they held two roles, Managing Director E-commerce and Business Development and Business Manager (Credit Products). In 2012, they became Head of Europe at OpenFin, where they worked until 2017. James then moved to Adaptive Financial Consulting Ltd as Commercial Director before founding Humble Grape in 2009, where they are currently CEO and Founder. In 2021, they also founded Humble Technology, where they are CEO and Founder.

James Dawson obtained an MBA from Cass Business School in 2004, having previously completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance and Strategy from the same school in 2002. James also holds a BSoc Sci in Economics and Psychology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, which they completed in 1996. James attended Grey College from 1986 to 1988, and has a Level 3 certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
