Haley Clark has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Haley started their career as a Sales Manager and Tradeshow Coordinator at Baroni, where they managed clients, built relationships, and handled logistics for tradeshows. Haley then worked at the Carlson School of Management, first as a Program Coordinator for the Institute for Research in Marketing, where they coordinated events and maintained the institute's online presence. Haley later became an Executive Office and Administrative Specialist, responsible for coordinating seminar series and providing support to the Supply Chain Board of Advisors. Haley then joined the Clinical Translational Science Institute as an Executive Office Administrator, where they provided executive support to three directors, managed travel arrangements and publications, and facilitated event planning. Their most recent position is Director of Human Resources, Inclusion, and People Development at Humboldt Area Foundation.
Haley Clark completed their education at the University of Minnesota from 2016 to 2019, earning a Master of Education (M.Ed) with a specialization in Human Resource Development. Prior to this, they attended Humboldt State University from 2001 to 2005 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Additionally, in February 2022, they obtained the SHRM-CP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Humboldt Area Foundation is the community foundation of and for the citizens of the Redwood, Trinity and Wild Rivers Region. Humboldt Area Foundation was founded on May 3, 1972 by Vera Perrott Vietor. Since 1972, Vera's vision has been echoed by literally thousands of neighbors committed to building a better community. Through the generosity of the community, Vera's original $2.4 million has grown to more than $78 million and has resulted in nearly $60 million in grants and scholarships to local charitable organizations and students throughout our community.
