Darren McGuane

Darren McGuane is a seasoned professional in integrated planning and customer retention, currently serving as the Senior Lead for Integrated Planning & Reporting at Hume City Council since January 2023, after previously holding the role of Coordinator, Planning and Development Support. With experience in customer education and loyalty at MLC Life Insurance from April 2016 to November 2020, Darren led a customer retention function and managed a team of 32 in phone-based customer engagement. Prior roles at MLC Limited included Retention Delivery Consultant, Change Analyst, and Service Centre Manager, where significant contributions were made to customer retention initiatives and contact center changes, earning accolades such as the 2011 Victorian Service Leader of the Year. Darren holds a Graduate Diploma in Psychology from Monash University and a Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Enterprise Management from Swinburne University of Technology.
