Nina Stephen

Nina Stephen is an experienced social policy and community planning professional, currently serving as an Executive Officer at Hume City Council since May 2023. Nina has held various key positions, including Social Policy Planner at the same council and Community Planning Business Analyst at the City of Whittlesea. In previous roles, Nina served as Acting Coordinator for Social Planning and Community Strengthening at Manningham Council, overseeing the implementation of the Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2021 - 2025 while managing a policy and data analysis team. Nina's extensive background also includes senior roles in social planning and project management across multiple councils and organizations, supported by a strong academic foundation with a Master of Social Policy and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Arts and Political Science from the University of Melbourne and Monash University.
