Katherine Jones

Katherine Jones is an experienced investor in the healthcare sector, currently serving as an Investor at Hummingbird Ventures since November 2023 and as a Mentor for Google's Black Founders Fund since September 2022. Prior to these roles, Katherine was an Investor and Venture Fellow at re.Mind Capital, a venture capital fund focused on brain research, from June 2021 to November 2023. Katherine also contributed as a Consultant at the Psychedelic Health Professionals Network, handling SEO and content marketing strategies while engaging medical professionals through webinars and newsletters, from November 2020 to August 2021. Additional experience includes serving as a Patient Advocacy & Strategy Advisor for NHS England and leading the marketing efforts at CaseCoach. Early research experience includes roles as a Clinical Research Scientist at the Centre for Neuroscience Imaging and an Assistant Researcher at King's College London, exploring neuropsychological conditions and therapies. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience (Hons) from King's College London and is currently pursuing a deferred Master's in Psychology of Addiction at the University of Oxford.
