Tess Rickert

Tess Rickert currently serves as the Fractional Head of HR at Hummingbird since September 2025. Prior experience includes roles as an HR Business Partner at Betterment from June 2022 to August 2025, and as the People Operations Lead at Level from December 2020 to June 2022, where Tess oversaw multiple HR disciplines such as Employee Relations, Talent Management, and Learning & Development. Previous positions include HR Manager and HR Coordinator at CircleCI, Global Services Consultant at Altair Global, and Assistant Paralegal II at Fragomen Worldwide. Tess holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San José State University.
