Mario Ropero serves as the Chief Financial Officer at AlgaEnergy since September 2023. Prior to this role, Mario held the position of General Manager for Spain at Humn from April 2022 to April 2023. Mario's extensive career includes serving as Head of Equity Research and a member of the Executive Committee at Bestinver Securities from November 2011 to April 2022, as well as roles in corporate development and strategy at BBVA, corporate finance at Ambers&Co, private equity real estate at Credit Suisse First Boston, and corporate finance at Deloitte España. Earlier in their career, Mario was an intern financial controller at Thomson Telecom. Mario holds an EDP in Asset Management from The Wharton School and a Master in Finance from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, along with education from Universidad de Málaga and the CFA Institute.
