Amber Henderson

Amber Henderson has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Amber is currently working at HunaTek as the Strategic Initiatives Director, a position they have held since January 2024. Prior to this role, they worked as the Compliance Director at HunaTek from September 2021 to January 2024. Previously, Amber worked at Huna Totem Corporation as the Director of Federal Contracting from January 2020 to September 2021, and as the Director of Administration from June 2018 to January 2020. Amber also served as the Director of Operations at Dear North from 2015 to 2018. Earlier in their career, Amber worked as the Shareholder Relations Manager at Huna Totem Corporation from May 2011 to January 2016, as an Admin II at the Juneau Police Department from November 2010 to May 2011, and as a Case Manager Assistant- Internal Medicine at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium from August 2009 to October 2010. Amber has previous experience at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium as a Medical Billing Specialist- Quyana Services from August 2006 to August 2008, as a Hospitality Specialist- Quyana Services from August 2005 to August 2006, and as a Hospitality Assistant- Quyana Services from June 2003 to August 2005.

Amber Henderson completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2009. Amber later pursued a Master of Public Administration degree in Rural Development from the University of Alaska Southeast, finishing in 2017.
