Ish Goel

Ish Goel has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Their most recent role is as the CEO and Co-Founder of Hunch since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Co-Founder at PlotX, a Web3 gaming startup. At PlotX, they led the company's mission to build skill-based games in the Play2Earn category, achieving significant user growth and raising funds.

Before PlotX, Ish worked as a Director at Somish Blockchain Labs since January 2009. Somish is a Blockchain Venture Studio specializing in DeFi and Smart Contract Auditing. During their time there, Ish delivered award-winning solutions to Fortune 500 companies, governments, and startups worldwide. Ish contributed to various blockchain projects, including P2P Insurance Mutual, Crypto Prediction Markets, and Smart Contract Audits.

Ish was also involved with Nexus Mutual as the CTO and Advisory Board Member. Ish led a team of developers to build Nexus Mutual from scratch, taking the project from idea to production. Additionally, Ish founded GovBlocks, an open protocol for decentralized governance. The protocol won the London Blockchain Week Hackathon in 2017.

Earlier in their career, Ish co-founded ShopFilo.com, India's first B2B grocery and food products provider. Ish also held the position of Tech Lead for Public Sector Projects in India, where they worked on various projects in the public sector. Furthermore, Ish completed an internship at Larsen & Toubro Limited.

Ish Goel completed their high school education from Apeejay Stya Education (Svran Foundation) between 1994 and 2008. Ish then pursued a Bachelor of Technology - BTech degree in Computer Science from Jaypee Institute Of Information Technology, graduating between 2008 and 2012.
