Codie Sterner

Codie Sterner is an accomplished sustainability professional currently serving as the Sustainability Program Manager at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where responsibilities include overseeing daily functions, fund management, and drafting budget proposals. In addition, Codie is an advisor and coordinator for the Sustainability Youth Club at Hunger at Home, which focuses on food recovery in Silicon Valley. Previous experience includes roles as Zero Waste Captain at Live Nation Entertainment, where waste diversion efforts were implemented, and as The Sustainable Food Project Coordinator at California State University San Marcos, leading initiatives to promote food security and sustainability. Codie has a diverse background in the restaurant industry and holds a Master of Sustainability Leadership from Arizona State University, a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from California State University San Marcos, and two associate degrees from Palomar College.
