Jay Wisner is an experienced human resources professional with a robust background in the management of HR and administrative functions across various organizations. Currently serving as the Human Resources Manager at Hunger Mountain Co-op since August 2017, Wisner previously held significant HR leadership roles, including Director of Human Resources at Norwich University, where responsibilities included overseeing HR and payroll for 800 faculty and staff. Wisner also played key roles in developing the first HR and IT departments at Vermont Law School, directed administrative services at the Vermont Low-Level Radioactive Waste Authority, and held positions within the State of Vermont's General Services Department and Department of Human Resources. Hunger Mountain Co-op, located at 623 Stone Cutters Way in Montpelier, Vermont, is a member-owned, community-based food co-op. Our Co-op is also proudly one of three state designated Vermont Green Grocery Environmental Leaders and a recent recipient of a Sustainability Star from National Co+op Grocers. Contributing to our community is a core value at Hunger Mountain Co-op.
