Scott Nelson

Scott Nelson has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and software development. Scott is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at HungerRush since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Olo as an Engineering Manager from August 2020 to August 2022.

Scott also held various roles at Derive Systems, including Director of Software from November 2018 to August 2020, and Software Team Lead from June 2017 to November 2018.

Before joining Derive Systems, they worked at Cerner Corporation, where they served as a Knowledge Architect from September 2015 to June 2017, and as a Senior Software Architect from September 2008 to September 2015.

Scott began their career at Microsoft Corporation, where they worked as a Software Design Engineer/Test from February 2001 to August 2006, and as a Software Design Engineer from August 2006 to September 2008.

Scott Nelson obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Following this, Scott pursued further education and completed a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Washington from 2004 to 2006.
