Evan Lutz

CEO & Co-Founder at Hungry Harvest

Evan Lutz is the CEO and Co-Founder of Hungry Harvest, a company that delivers fresh fruits and vegetables to consumers while fighting food waste. Evan has always been passionate about fighting food waste and hunger. In college, they started the Food Recovery Network, which recovered food from dining halls and donated it to local shelters. Evan also piloted a program called the Recovered Foods CSA, which sold gleaned food from local farms to customers as a Community Supported Agriculture model.

After graduation, Evan interned at the National Aquarium and the Business Civic Leadership Center, US Chamber of Commerce Foundation. Evan then went on to work at Under Armour, where they were selected as one of 38 interns out of 2700 applicants. At Under Armour, Evan worked with a team of fellow interns to plan the Summer League Sample Sale, which had revenues of over $200,000. Evan also assisted in planning, setting up, and supervising 20+ employee events.

In 2013, Evan left Under Armour to focus full-time on Hungry Harvest. Since then, the company has been featured on Shark Tank, Good Morning America, and The Today Show. They have also been named one of Forbes 30 Under 30 and Inc. Magazine's 50 Visionary Companies.

Evan Lutz graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Business.
