John Philbrick is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in both education and the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Geologist at Hunt Oil Company since July 2016, John supports international and domestic assets through geological and economic analysis, as well as international growth initiatives. Previously, John contributed as an Exploration Geologist, focusing on multi-discipline datasets for large-scale geological interpretations. John’s earlier roles include Geology Lab Instructor and Geology Tutor at the University of Arkansas, where responsibilities entailed educating students and providing tailored tutoring. John also gained foundational experience as a Geoscience Intern at Hunt Oil Company, conducting analyses in geological and geophysical projects. John holds a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Arkansas.
