Michael Young

Michael Young is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in managing infrastructure and cybersecurity for Industrial Control Systems, Cloud/DevOps, and network operations. In the current role as Director of Cybersecurity and Operational Technology at Hunt Energy Network, responsibilities include overseeing critical cybersecurity measures. Michael is also a distinguished alumnus of the 2022 Operational Technology Defender Fellowship with the U.S. Department of Energy, focusing on energy security and emergency response. Prior positions include Cybersecurity Engineer at Hunt Consolidated, Inc. and Senior Network Security Engineer at Sharyland Utilities. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from The University of Texas Permian Basin and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Business Administration from Midland College.
