Barney Taylor

Barney Taylor is a Construction Manager at HUNT Engineers, Architects & Surveyors since February 2023, following the acquisition of Shumaker Engineering. With extensive experience in the construction field, Taylor has been semi-retired since October 2010, managing home building projects and providing part-time construction consulting services. Previous roles include Construction Coordinator at Shumaker Consulting Engineering & Land Surveying from January 2013 to March 2023, Construction Manager at Delta Engineers, Architects, Land Surveyors from January 2006 to October 2010, Sr. Engineer at Fahs Construction Group from September 1996 to January 2006, and Construction Manager at McFarland-Johnson, Inc. from 1973 to 1996. Taylor holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Civil Engineering Technologies/Technicians from SUNY Broome Community College and has completed continuing education seminars with the FAA Eastern region and Penn State for ten years.
