Matt C. Woodard, CPA, CGMA, PFS has extensive work experience in the finance field. Matt C. is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Hunt Guillot & Associates (HGA) since April 2021. Prior to this, they held the same role at Hood Petroleum, Inc. and Petrohood Energy, LLC from December 2013 to April 2021.

Before joining these companies, Woodard worked as a Partner at Barr & Woodard, L.L.C CPAs from January 2010 to November 2013. Matt C. also served as a Manager at Evers, Cox & Gober, PLLC from June 2006 to December 2009, and as an In-Charge at Heard, McElroy & Vestal, LLC CPA from June 2004 to May 2006.

Matt C. Woodard, CPA, CGMA, PFS, completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at Louisiana Tech University in 2003. Matt C. then pursued a Master of Professional Accountancy degree at the same university, which they completed in 2004.

In terms of additional certifications, Matt obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from the State of Louisiana in 2005. Matt C. later obtained the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) certification from the AICPA in 2008. In 2012, Matt obtained the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certification from the AICPA as well.
