Denise Plocher has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Denise started their career as a volunteer at Dominican Hospital in 2009. In 2012, they worked as a Charge Nurse at Delmar Gardens. From 2013 to 2017, Denise worked at Nurses & Company Home Health Hospice Private Services, serving as a Home Health Field RN/Case Manager and later as a Staff Nurse. In 2019, they had an apprenticeship at LaunchCode before joining Hunter Engineering Company as a Software Analyst. Denise then progressed to become a Business Intelligence Developer and later took on the role of Business Intelligence Lead. In this position, they led a team in developing Power Apps, Power BI Reports, and implementing Power Automate. Denise also created a strategy for data lake development and business cases for Power Apps and Power Automate.
Denise Plocher PSPO, PSM holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Southern Illinois University, which was obtained from 2010 to 2011. Denise also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and European History from the University of California, Santa Cruz, from 2006 to 2010. Denise completed their high school education at Mendocino High School, where they earned a High School Diploma from 2002 to 2006. In 2019, they completed the Lift Off program in Computer Software Engineering at LaunchCode. Denise furthered their education by pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science & Analytics at the University of Missouri-Columbia, which they are expected to complete from 2021 to 2023. Additionally, Denise obtained certifications in Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) and Professional Scrum Product Owner™ I (PSPO I) from Scrum.org in 2023.
