Dana Borie

Dana Borie has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They started their career in 1996 as an Engineer at United Space Alliance, where they worked until 1999. They then joined Heritage Christian School as a coordinator from 2011 to 2013. After that, they worked at Southwest Antennas, initially as an Assembly Technician from 2014 to 2015, then as a Mechanical Design Engineer from 2015 to 2022, and finally as the Director of Product Testing and Qualification from 2019 to 2022. Currently, Dana is employed at Hunter Industries as the Principal Manufacturing Engineer, starting in 2022.

Dana Borie holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University, which was obtained between the years 2018 and 2022. Prior to that, Dana earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Aerospace Engineering from Tuskegee University, a degree earned between 1989 and 1995. In addition to these degrees, Dana also completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Tuskegee University during the same time period. Dana also pursued a CAD/CADD Drafting and/or Design Technology/Technician program at Southwestern College from 2014 to 2015. In terms of certifications, Dana obtained the SLII - A Situational Approach to Learning certification from The Ken Blanchard Companies in August 2022. Other certifications earned by Dana include Scrum: The Basics from LinkedIn in November 2021, PowerPoint Essential Training (Office 365/Microsoft 365) from LinkedIn in July 2021, Speaking Up At Work from LinkedIn in February 2021, Project Leadership from LinkedIn in January 2021, and Strategic Agility from LinkedIn in January 2021.
