Michael Loi

Michael Loi is an experienced IP Counsel with a robust background in patent law, having held key positions at multiple organizations. Currently serving at Hunter Industries since August 2022, Michael previously worked as a Patent Attorney at Karl Storz Imaging and as a Corporate and Patent Attorney at FOX Factory, where oversight of a substantial patent portfolio was crucial to business operations. Michael led the Intellectual Property Department at Alphatec Spine, implementing cost-saving measures and strategies that significantly increased patent filings. Early career experiences include patent work with Loi Patent Law, Harness, Dickey and Pierce P.L.C., and legal internships at Toyota and Tilleke & Gibbins International. Michael holds a JD from Ave Maria School of Law and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University.
