Dr. Robert Murry

Dr. Robert (Bob) Murry, PhD, MD, FAAFP, serves as the Chief Medical Officer at NextGen Healthcare, overseeing the development of top-rated EHR systems and leading product management teams to enhance ambulatory practices. In addition to this role, Dr. Murry co-owns a private practice with Kerri Murry in rural New Jersey and practices as a Family Practice Physician at Hunterdon Health, where responsibilities include leading outpatient healthcare IT initiatives and achieving NCQA certification. Dr. Murry has held various leadership roles in medical informatics, contributed to Family Medicine residency education, and developed innovative clinical tracking systems. Educational credentials include an MD from UT Southwestern Medical Center, a PhD and MS in Physical Chemistry from Boston College and MIT, respectively, and a BA in Chemistry from Rice University.
