Ruth Pichaj has extensive experience in nursing and community outreach, currently serving as the Manager of Community Outreach and Community Benefit at Huntington Health since March 2002. In this hybrid role, Ruth integrates public health nursing with public relations to advance Huntington Hospital's mission of providing preventive care and promoting health within the community. Prior to this position, Ruth worked as an MSSP Care Coordinator/Case Manager within a government-funded program aimed at supporting seniors and their families. Ruth's nursing career began at Huntington Hospital, where from 1987 to 2002, Ruth worked as a Staff Registered Nurse in various adult patient care areas, including medical-surgical, diabetes, renal, and neurology. Ruth holds a B.S. in Nursing from California State University, Los Angeles, and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Los Angeles Valley College.
