Valerie Szopa is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in internal communications, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning. Currently serving as Internal Communications Manager at Huntington Health, Valerie oversees communications for 5,000 employees, enhances employee experience, and manages agency partners. Previous roles include Internal Communications Advisor at Seattle City Light, where Valerie co-founded a Social Responsibility program and established a recognition program honored by the Ragan Employee Communications Awards. Earlier experience includes positions as Social Media Coordinator at Loyola Marymount University, Communications Manager at Marina del Rey Convention & Visitors Bureau, and various roles in public relations.
