Karen Velkey

Karen Velkey has over two decades of experience in compensation and benefits, currently serving as Vice President of Compensation & Benefits at Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. since 2011, where responsibilities include executive compensation design, administration of various incentive plans, and preparation of Compensation Discussion & Analysis materials. Prior to this role, Karen held positions at Northrop Grumman from 2001 to 2011, progressing from Compensation Analyst to Compensation Manager, focusing on job coding, descriptions, and market pricing.
