Michael Powers, Ph.D., CRISC, currently serves as the Senior Vice President and IT Risk Director at Huntington National Bank, where responsibilities include establishing the Risk Assessment Center of Excellence and managing risk evaluations and controls related to Cybersecurity, Data Management, and Technology. With over 25 years of technology management experience, Michael has held roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor across several universities, including Franklin University and Grand Canyon University, focusing on Cybersecurity, Risk Assessment, and Business Statistics. Michael's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Northcentral University and a Master of Science in Management from National Louis University. Additionally, experience ranges from project management in the Department of Defense to senior technology roles in various organizations, demonstrating a broad expertise in operational risk and information security.
