Mike Thompson

Mike Thompson is an accomplished process engineer with extensive experience in the chemical and water treatment industries. Currently employed at Huntsman Corporation as a Process Engineer since November 2024, Mike previously held the position of Production Engineering Manager at Ascend Performance Materials from August 2021 to October 2024. Prior roles include Lead Sales Manager at SUEZ - Water Technologies & Solutions, Continuous Improvement Manager at AkzoNobel, and Senior Process Engineer at Kemira, among others. Mike's expertise encompasses lean improvements, process safety management, and account management in various sectors, including petrochemicals and power generation. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Alabama, earned in 1997.
