Robert Simon is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in various roles across the chemical and energy sectors. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Indorama Ventures since January 2020, Robert also holds the position of Operations Manager at Huntsman, where responsibilities include overseeing energy, ethylene production, utilities, and pipelines. Prior to these roles, Robert worked at DuPont for 18 years in various capacities related to Nylon manufacturing, and spent a decade as a Senior Engineer at Conoco. An alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh, Robert holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry, and furthered education at Kansas State University, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering.
