Kaki M. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2009, Kaki worked at PearlPoint Cancer Support as a Communications Team Member until 2013. From there, Kaki moved on to EVENT Magazine, where they held a Sales & Graphic Design position from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, Kaki joined Appleton Talent as a Business Development professional until 2015. Following this, Kaki worked at the American Cancer Society as a Senior Development Manager from 2016 to 2021, where they managed fundraising activities and secured high-profile corporate gifts. In 2021, Kaki briefly worked as an Executive Recruiter at Cameron Executive Search. Currently, Kaki is serving as the Director of Corporate Relations at Huntsville Botanical Garden, responsible for overseeing corporate sponsorships, fundraising strategies, and donor relationships. In 2023, Kaki transitioned to the role of Director of Corporate and Government Relations at Huntsville Botanical Garden.

Kaki M. started their education journey in 2005 at Auburn University, where they studied Graphic Design until 2008. Kaki then transferred to Lipscomb University and pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Graphic Design & Marketing from 2008 to 2009.
