Samantha Coveney

Samantha Coveney currently serves as the FNS Manager of Education and Training at Huntsville Hospital, a position held since January 2025. Prior to this role, Samantha completed a dietetic internship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from May 2023 to February 2025. Samantha's professional experience includes working as a Fitness Coordinator at Aquila | On-Site Health & Fitness Management and as a Fitness Specialist at Tx Team Rehab and MaxMotion Physical Therapy. Earlier roles included serving as a Physical Therapy Aide at Nesin Therapy and as an Undergraduate Head Researcher at The University of Alabama in Huntsville, where research focused on group exercise impacts on Parkinson's patients. Additional experiences include working as an Athletic Trainer with Sports Medicine Australia and coaching at the Heart of the Valley YMCA. Samantha holds a Master of Science in Nutrition Sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from The University of Alabama in Huntsville.
