Daniel Elías Martín Herranz is the Co-Founder and CSO of Hurdle since December 2017. Daniel Elías was a PhD Student at EMBL-EBI from October 2015 to April 2019, focusing on the epigenetic aging clock in humans. Daniel Elías was also a Research Intern at the University of Cambridge in the Transmissible Cancer Group, analyzed NGS data of DFTD samples. Furthermore, Daniel Elías served as Treasurer at FEBiotec and participated in projects at ABSal. Daniel also had research internships at Instituto de Biología Funcional y Genómica, Innovagenomics, and NUI Maynooth, specializing in genomics and bioinformatics. Daniel Elías holds a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Cambridge, among other degrees.
