Etosha Cave (Eee-tah-sha)

Etosha Cave is the co-founder and CSO of Twelve, a startup focused on recycling carbon dioxide and water into higher-valued products. Etosha (Eee-tah-sha) has been with the company since its founding in 2015. Additionally, Etosha served as a Member of the Board of Advisors at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in 2019. Prior to their work at Twelve, they were a research assistant and graduate student at Stanford University from 2009 to 2015. Etosha also gained experience as a mechanical engineering intern at Lexmark International, Inc. in 2007 and as a utilities technician and intern for the US Antarctic Program at the National Science Foundation from 2006 to 2007.

Etosha Cave completed their education in Mechanical Engineering and holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University, which they pursued from 2011 to 2015. Prior to their doctoral studies, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Engineering from Stanford University between 2007 and 2011. Etosha began their academic journey at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering from 2002 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Etosha has also acquired extra certifications. In 2014, they earned a certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the Ignite Summer Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business. Furthermore, in 2012, they completed a course titled "Writing in the Sciences" on Coursera, which further enhanced their skills and knowledge.
