Chris Connolly currently serves as the Executive Director of Economic Development and Tourism for the City of Hurst since October 2023. Prior to this role, Chris has held various leadership positions, including Director of Operations and General Manager at the Hurst Conference Center from August 2010 to the present. Chris also served as Producer/Director for Chris Cox Horsemanship Company from June 2006 to August 2010, overseeing a nationally syndicated television program. Additionally, Chris worked as Director of Network Programming at Dallas iMedia Network from September 2007 to October 2009, managing content for three channels on Time Warner Cable. Chris Connolly holds a B.A. in General Studies, with a focus on Film, English, and Psychology from the University of North Texas.

Function Spaces Grand Ballroom Ballroom The contemporary design and fiber optic star-field lighting distinguishes the Grand Ballroom from other more traditional settings. With nearly 14,000 square feet of column-free, configurable space, the Grand Ballroom is easily subdivided into seven rooms that comfortably host groups ranging from 40 to 1,200 guests. Gallery The signature Gallery is a contemporary pre-function atrium with distinctive versatility that offers an ideal setting for all types of events. Leather seating and wireless Internet provide a comfortable area for guests to relax between meetings or catch up on business from the office. Executive Board Room Comfortably accommodating up to 20 guests, it features state-of-the-art technology, Wi-Fi access and built-in 60" LCD monitor with blackout drapes. And for those times when the office calls with urgent business, two individual workstations are strategically located just outside the boardroom to provide a convenient place for your executives to slip away and handle pressing matters. Meeting Rooms Your guests will have no trouble finding their meeting with the LCD signage that labels each of the rooms.
