Robert Eckels

Robert Eckels is an accomplished legal and corporate executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple sectors. Currently serving as Of Counsel at Husch Blackwell and Director at Greffex, Inc., Robert Eckels focuses on advancing innovative technologies in vaccines and genetic medicine. Previous positions include Director of Texas Central High Speed Railway, Director at South Texas College of Law Houston, Chairman of the Texas County & District Retirement System, and various roles in law firms including Gray Reed & McGraw and Norton Rose Fulbright. As County Judge for Harris County, Robert Eckels oversaw significant executive and legislative functions, and served as a State Representative in the Texas House of Representatives. Robert Eckels holds a Doctor of Law from South Texas College of Law Houston and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston.
