Shawn Reid

Shawn Reid is an experienced professional in learning design and instructional training with a career spanning over 19 years. Currently serving as Learning Design Manager and Learning Designer at Husch Blackwell since June 2019, Shawn oversees the planning, management, and execution of learning content development. Previous positions include Manager of Instructional Design and Training at Children's Hospital Association, where Shawn developed learning solutions and analytics strategies, and roles at OptumHealth/United Health Group as an Instructional Designer, creating materials for various departments. Early career experience includes roles as a Digital Content Strategist at Penton Media and Associate Editor at Sporting News, where Shawn contributed to editorial processes and content creation. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
