Brad Mattson

Brad Mattson is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the cleantech and renewable energy sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Africa Minigrid Developers Association (AMDA) and Chief Strategy Officer at Husk Power Systems, Mattson has played a pivotal role in expanding energy access to over 200,000 people in off-grid villages across India and Africa. Brad's previous positions include Executive Chairman and CEO at Siva Power, where innovative solar technology was developed at scale, and partner at Vantage Point Venture Partners, focusing on substantial investments in solar companies. Mattson's advisory roles include significant contributions to Shell and various organizations dedicated to social entrepreneurship and technology's impact on society. Brad holds an MBA in Finance from Santa Clara University and a BSc in Aeronautics from San Jose State University.
