Cristiana Pinto

Cristiana Pinto is an experienced Application Engineer specializing in Hot Runners at Husky Injection Molding Systems since September 2021. Prior to this role, Cristiana served as a Project Manager at CS Plastic and completed a Design Engineer Internship at Automoldes, where responsibilities included creating 3D/2D drawings for injection mould components and electrodes, as well as conducting mould tests. In academia, Cristiana developed a Master's dissertation on "Core back moulding, adhesion optimization in the joining area" and completed an individual project focused on ejection of undercuts in plastic parts. Additionally, a Quality Engineer Internship at Plastirso involved physical characterization of polymeric films. Cristiana holds a Master's degree in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from Universidade do Minho, obtained in 2020.
