Thomas Welch

Thomas Welch is the current Vice President of Finance & Administration at Husson University. Prior to this, they served as the Assistant Vice President for Financial Services at Francis Marion University from August 2010 to February 2022. Thomas has also worked as an Audit Manager & GAAP Accountant at the SC Governor's Office - OEPP from April 2008 to August 2010 and as an Auditor at the SC State Auditor's Office from May 2005 to March 2008.

Thomas Welch's educational career began with him obtaining their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting from Francis Marion University. Thomas then went on to obtain their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from Southern Wesleyan University. Additionally, they have obtained certification from the AICPA in COSO Internal Control Certificate and Not-for-Profit Management II, as well as certification from the South Carolina LLR in Certified Public Accountant.

Their manager is Robert A. Clark, President & CEO. They are on a team with Janet Kelle - Chief Human Resources Officer, Sarah Cary Robinson - VP, Advancement, and Frank Pergolizzi - Director of Athletics.
