Chris Vickery

Chris Vickery has extensive experience in the energy industry. Chris currently holds the position of VP of Energy at Hut 8, a company they joined in 2023. Before that, they were the VP of Energy at US Bitcoin Corp, which merged with Hut 8 in 2022.

Prior to their roles at Hut 8, Vickery worked at GlidePath Power Solutions as the Vice President of Business Development from 2018 to 2022. Chris also served as the Senior Director of Origination at Leeward Renewable Energy, LLC from 2016 to 2018.

Vickery's earlier experience includes working as the Director of Commercial Transactions at Invenergy LLC from 2015 to 2016, as well as holding various positions at Acciona Energy, including Director of Power Marketing from 2013 to 2015. Chris also worked as a New Business Development Intern at DTE Energy Services and as an Early Identification Engineering Co-op at GE Energy.

Vickery began their career as an Environmental Careers Organization Associate at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in 2006.

Chris Vickery completed a B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan from 2003 to 2007. Later, from 2007 to 2008, they pursued a Masters in Energy Systems Engineering at the same institution. Chris then enrolled in The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2012 to 2014 and obtained an MBA with a focus on Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, General Management, and Strategic Management.
