Hutchison Port Holdings Trust
Mr. Shum is the Managing Director of YANTIAN and a member of the HPH Trust Exco, a committee of executives that determines strategy for HPH Trust. Before the appointment of his current position in June 2021, he was the Managing Director of COSCO-HIT and Deputy Managing Director of ACT. Since joining the Hutchison Ports Group in 1996, Mr. Shum has held various executive positions in Hong Kong and mainland China within the Trust and Hutchison Ports Group. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of YANTIAN, took up various posts in Shanghai and was the Regional Director – North and East China of the Hutchison Ports Group. He has 25 years of experience in the port industry. Currently, Mr. Shum is the Standing Committee Member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference of Yantian District, Shenzhen. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Mr. Shum is also an Associate of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Hutchison Port Holdings Trust is a Singapore-based container port business trust. The Company invests in, develops, operates and manages deep-water container ports in China's Guangdong Province, Hong Kong and Macau. It owns interests in over four deep-water container ports strategically located in Kwai Tsing in Hong Kong and Shenzhen in China. Its operations are supported by river ports and ancillary services, which provide customers with supply chain solutions for both imports and exports. Its ancillary services include logistics and supply chain solutions, such as warehousing, feeder services, trucking, freight handling, cargo depots, container storage and repair, as well as transport networks across road, rail, sea and air. The Company's terminals operate approximately 30 container berths across over 540 hectares of land, with a combined throughput of approximately 23.9 million 20-foot equivalent units (TEU). It is managed by Hutchison Port Holdings Management Pte. Limited.
