Monica Charvet

Monica Charvet is an experienced professional in marketing and business development with a strong background in the logistics and port operations industry. Since May 2008, Monica has been with Hutchison Port Holdings, initially serving as Manager of Commercial Development, where responsibilities included conducting research and analyzing throughput trends while supporting sales strategies across business units. Subsequently, Monica took on the role of Manager Business Development, successfully introducing Hutchison Logistics to the Latin American market and establishing a network of Freight Forwarding Agencies. Currently, as Manager-Marketing Latin America, Monica promotes HPH's Latin American ports in Asia, fostering relationships with shipping lines and international clients. Prior to Hutchison, Monica gained experience in import operations at Kuehne + Nagel from 1999 to 2004. Monica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, obtained from 1988 to 1994.
