Craig L. Weiss

Craig L. Weiss is a co-founder and partner of Tower Ventures, which provides infrastructure solutions for the wireless industry, where he manages the sales and leasing department. He owns Central Defense Security, the largest physical security provider in the Mid-South, and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. He is also the Chief Executive Officer for Central Defense Staffing, which provides staffing solutions for the logistics industry in the region. Mr. Weiss is a native of Memphis and attended Christian Brothers High School. He earned a Bachelor’s from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Memphis. Mr. Weiss is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Paragon Bank, a Memphis-based Community Bank, with $500 million in assets. In addition, Mr. Weiss is the current Chair of the Board of Directors for the Memphis Child Advocacy Center. He is on the Executive Committee & Board of Directors for the United Way of the Mid-South as Chairman of the Catalyst Fund Committee. He also sits on the Board of Directors of The Memphis Shelby Crime Commission and the Board of Visitors at the University of Memphis. He serves on the International Boards for BBYO and the JCC Association. Mr. Weiss is a past President/Chairman of the Memphis Jewish Community Center Board of Directors and a past Vice Chair of Jewish Community Partners. He and his wife Cathy have three children, Isaac, Ari, and Ava ’22, a junior at Hutchison.
