Joyce Chau

Joyce Chau has a strong background in finance and accounting. Joyce has worked at HUTCHMED since 2017, starting as the Senior Group Finance Manager for Financial Planning & Analysis before transitioning to the role of Senior Director for Financial Reporting. Their most recent position at HUTCHMED is the Executive Director for Financial Planning and Analysis. Prior to their time at HUTCHMED, Joyce worked at Chi-Med (Hutchison China MediTech Limited) where they held various financial management positions from 2008 to 2017. Joyce began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2005 as a Senior Associate, focusing on budget preparation, audit planning, and business performance analysis for listed companies.

Joyce Chau completed their secondary education at Diocesan Girls' School from 1995 to 2002. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) majoring in Accountancy with a minor in Corporate Finance from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2002 to 2005.

In terms of certifications, Joyce obtained the Certified Public Accountant designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (Washington DC) in January 2017. Additionally, they also hold the Certified Public Accountant designation from the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
