Adrian Foster has over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing and business development. Adrian began their career in 1990 as a Connectors Territory Manager for Parker Hannifin. During their time there, they took on a declining territory and grew it over more than 25% year-on-year. Adrian also achieved record sales growth and opened several new OEM accounts. In addition, they revamped the distributor network and initiated business via catalogue sales in Europe. Adrian was then promoted to UK Market Segment Manager - Mobile Sales, where they led a team of 16 account managers and developed an Excel-based pricing calculator system. This system was subsequently adopted as standard procedure and led to the sales company receiving an award for procedural efficiency and innovation with profitable growth. Adrian was then promoted to UK Marketing Manager, where they developed and delivered marketing strategy for a highly successful business with 400 employees and multi-million-dollar turnover. Adrian also led and motivated a team of 17 marketing, sales and technical specialists, and developed a highly successful marketing matrix and ROI-focused approach to events and campaigns. Adrian was then promoted to UK & Ireland Strategic Marketing Manager, where they developed a sales pipeline strategy to drive growth through innovative tracking and measurement tools. This was complemented by coaching training for sales teams, which proved highly successful. Adrian was then promoted to Hose Doctor Business Unit Manager, where they led a business unit with 40+ employees and multi-million-pound turnover through direct sales and distribution. Adrian managed service through significant change, including TUPE transfers in 12 different companies, relocating the business and moving from loss to profit. Adrian then achieved record sales growth and developed bespoke call centre software solutions. Adrian was then promoted to Business Development Manager, UK & Eire, where they focused on key accounts and marketing for retail stores. Adrian was responsible for launching the first Parker retail concept in Europe and opening the very first two stores after training in the USA. Adrian was then promoted to their current role as Sales Trainer and Executive Coach at Huthwaite International, where they provide professional sales coaching and training for an industry leader in sales training and negotiation courses. Adrian helps clients to increase conversions, improve sales performance and achieve positive lasting change.
Adrian Foster attended Leggarts Way School from 1976 to 1979, where they studied Geography, Chemistry, Physics, Technical Drawing, English, and Art. Adrian then attended Watford Technical College from 1976 to 1979, where they obtained a City & Guilds Parts 1, 2 and 3 in Mechanical Engineering. In 1980, they obtained a City & Guilds in Hydraulic and Pneumatic Sequential Control from Watford Technical College. Additionally, Adrian Foster has obtained a number of certifications, including a SPIN TTT: Content Delivery Workshop 1 of 4 from Huthwaite International in July 2021, a Level 7 Coach from The Lazarus Consultancy Ltd in June 2016, a Qualified NLP Practitioner from The Lazarus Consultancy Ltd in June 2015, an Accredited Member of the Association for Neuro Linguistic Programming from ANLP INTERNATIONAL CIC in June 2021, a SPIN Participant Experience VC1 from Huthwaite International, and a SPIN TTT: BA workshop - Session 1 of 2 from Huthwaite International.
