Andrea Mitchell

Andrea Mitchell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business and corporate services management. Currently serving as the Business Manager for Transport at Hutt City Council since January 2023, Andrea previously held the position of Corporate Services Manager at Cardno NZ Ltd from October 2016 to January 2023. In this role, responsibilities included oversight of daily operations and providing high-level administrative support to senior management. Andrea began working with Cardno NZ Limited as an Executive Assistant to the NZ Area Manager in June 2010, following an initial career as Office Manager at Better Technical Options Ltd, which later merged with Cardno. Earlier professional experience includes serving as Director/Manager at Urban Joinery Company from 1998 to 2009, specializing in aluminium joinery for both residential and commercial sectors. Education was completed at Hutt Valley Memorial College from 1980 to 1984.
