Charlotte Parish has a diverse work experience spanning various government departments and organizations. Charlotte started their career as a Programme Officer at Future First in 2017. Charlotte then joined Lewisham Council in 2018, where they worked as a National Management Trainee and later as a Principal Officer - Strategic Adviser to the Chief Executive. In 2021, they moved to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and served as an Assistant Private Secretary until 2023. Following that, they worked as a Private Secretary at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology for a few months. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Mayor's Office at Hutt City Council, starting in 2023.

Charlotte Parish began their education at Waldegrave School for Girls, where they obtained their GCSE degree from 2006 to 2011. Charlotte then attended Richmond upon Thames College from 2011 to 2013, where they received their International Baccalaureate.
