Kent Quirk is currently a board member at Huvii. Prior to that, they were the VP of Engineering at Denali Publishing LLC from January 2020 to June 2020. There, they focused on technology management and leadership in game development, working specifically with the Denali Games Hungary studio in Debrecen, Hungary. From October 2019 to January 2020, Kent was a consulting VP of Engineering. In this role, they worked on an upcoming set of mobile games in Hungary.
Previously, Kent was the VP of Engineering at Oneiro Inc. from December 2017 to October 2019. At Oneiro, they led the team in charge of building a new type of cryptocurrency. Using the Tendermint consensus engine, they designed, built, and deployed a blockchain-based cryptocurrency with a built-in economic model designed to keep the currency "buoyant". The team also built and deployed a secure wallet app on iOS and Android.
Before Oneiro, Kent was the Software Architect at The Achievement Network from April 2015 to December 2017. And before that, they were the VP Engineering at Tidepool.org from July 2013 to April 2015.
